The second reason why they could turn on logs is for troubleshooting. However, they promise that such logging is only taken as a last resort to resolving the technical issue. They also state that such logging will be for mere hours, and that all such logs are wiped as soon as the issues are resolved.

The climax is that Boleh VPN do not keep log nor track users internet usage that can come around to compromise your privacy. They conclude their privacy policy fittingly with the words: “We at Boleh VPN value your privacy”

Jurisdiction

Boleh VPN is a Seychelles incorporated company. Their location in Seychelles means that they are not subject to any mandatory data retention laws.

Seychelles is also not a member of any intelligence network such as the Eyes Alliances. Boleh VPN makes this known by saying: “Being a company operating outside of the jurisdiction FVEY countries, we have no obligation to keep any user activity logs nor do we track your internet usage.”

In the interests of transparency and accountability, Boleh VPN issues a monthly “warrant canary” within the first week of each calendar month.
