Bebe says:

It looked legit at first and I think it was befor SSI took over, but I’m waiting for 5 days for a new survey invitation, and they keep saying that I have to complete my profile…. hmmmm… wait I already did that twice even if it says 100% complete!

Irila says:

I was a member and I filled in surveys dailly and I made in 1 week 10€. Yet they didn’t payed me and even worse I goth banned! Do not waste your time on this awfull site!!

Hesky says:

Awful waste of time, complete scam. Do not join up

Boy o boy says:

Also had the same problem as others with being terminated when I came time to cash out the reward.

In my case I had already cashed out as small $10 reward and that went well so I continued to do surveys. Accumulated another 1000+ points went to cash it out and suddenly was terminated, no reason given.

Yes I have emailed them but don’t expect a reply.

Honk says:

the same happened to me. i do some surveys than iam offed a 3 and a half hour survey that turned into a 4 and a half hour survey and as soon as i finish it i try to review my account and nope… its terminated. so i try to contact help desk and now they want my full name, address, date of birth and location..WTF! errr NOPE. its a shame i did not look for reviews before i wasted so much time.

Remmy says:

Once i reached the point to redeem, they suddenly terminated my account… it is so suck….. what are they doing. ONLY SGD15, It totally waste my time. Opinionworld you own me. Anyone dun waste you time, can’t believe they terminate my account on such small amount.

Okey says:

yes, happened to me as well, never be able to redeem any points, they just keep telling me to wait another 72 hours, then try again, but that NEVER work, it is a scam, stay the hell away from them.

Samson says:

Completed 3.5hr survey for $30 reward. Upon completion attempted to view my account and received notification that I breached guidelines and had been terminated. Don’t use opinion world!!!!

Luci says:

Update they got in touch with me and credited my acc with the points. Delete my comment or disregard thanks

Rumie says:

I’m from India. I have joined opinionworld 2days ago. I’m still unable to get invitations. I complete my profile 100%

Jackson says:

Me to!
I go every hour to the site for 3 days, and it still says that I don’t have invitations and that I have to complete my profile. I click on profile options and what does it say? “100% completed”. So….

A big F to this site

Ben says:

Has anyone actually lost any money to this company or has anyone lost anything because of the information they provided to them in the surveys? please respond.

Jacinta says:

Unfortunately, I too had the same thing happen to me as other reviewers here. I joined OpinionWorld a few days ago, completed a few surveys (one of which was lengthy and was awarded a generous number of points) and decided to try and cash out as soon as I reached the minimum required points just to see if OpinionWorld was all it claimed to be. At first when I went to cash out I received a message saying that all new accounts were reviewed before being allowed to cash out and I would have to wait until 72 hours had elapsed since signing up to cash out. I went back after the 72 hours had passed and again tried to cash out. At this point I was redirected to the terms and conditions and automatically logged out. When I tried to log back in, I received the message informing me that my account had been terminated due to violation of the terms and conditions, which, I can assure you, I have not been guilty of. I’m disappointed this all turned out to be a scam, but thankful I discovered this fairly early on before investing too much valuable time in what has turned out to be a complete waste of time.

Iman says:

yes, it is a scam site, stay away from it

Patrick says:

Opinion World “Help” centre DOES NOT HELP or RESPOND to my 2 emails sent to them over 2 months back. I was asking why I stopped receiving surveys suddenly AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, why I AM UNABLE TO LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT. The 866 toll-free number was also not connecting at all which I have tried many times. Seems to me that these people, by deleting me for no reasons & probably others as 2well , ROBBED our accumulated rewards points. I have 5000-6000 points when I checked my account few months back that I have accumulated over one year.

Pascal says:

I have had the exact same experience as John above. I completed hundreds of surveys over about a year with no system problems or anything. BUT when I went to redeem my earnings, I suddenly get a message saying my account has been terminated!!! Funnily enough, I can still log in and can still do surveys and everything else on the site, the only thing I can’t do is redeem my eranings…hmmm. AAbsolute SCAM!!!!!

Such a waste of my time and effort. I am so ANGRY!!!!!

Ronke says:

I have been taking surveys for about 5 years and have been able to earn an extra $2000.00 per year. Opinion World is the worst. They will send you 30 surveys and only 1 will be for pay. The others will be for a prize draw or a charity donation. Don’t bother with these people. Go to Toluna, Your Free Surveys, Opinion Outpost, Survey Savvy.

Ronald says:

I searched google when my account was terminated and found this so I was not alone. Same situation as John.

Please do stay away from OpinionWorld unless someone can prove me wrong.

Rebbe says:

Yes Opinionworld is absolutely a scam website: my account was terminated without an explanation when I tried to redeem with them. I advise people to stay way from them unless they want their time wasted and money taken away.

Benson says:

“SCAM WARNING” One of the first surveys I get is a 3 hour long survey and promises to pay $30 once complete. I complete this survey honestly and accurately, which took me 2 days, and only after completion it gives me a message saying “My survey wouldn’t be used because one of numerous reasons”. WHAT ABOUT ALL MY TIME WASTED.

I write This to warn others and hopefully they won’t go through what I did. I feel like such an idiot, money is tight at the moment so I would nearly do anything to make ends meet.

I highly recommend TO STAY AWAY FROM.

  • They are a SCAM INDEED. but they don't always pull the 'terminate your account' scam, so some people will stay. My friend managed to cash out thrice! and me once, and on my 2nd, they promptly pulled this stunt. To test my theory, I made another account and took hours to rack up the points and then recorded the whole process of me clicking on redeem, it would direct you to a terms and conditions page by OW, but with NO way of proceeding, so any other page you hit will bring you to the home page, logged out. The next time you log in, it will have a pop up notification telling you that your account has been terminated due to policy or code violations. Very neat. I now have a video of it, and would show it if I could upload it, just to prove my point. I have also noticed that their 'articles' are poorly written, with the intention of space filling, and with poor grammar. Their sweepstakes winners are listed plainly, and their 'latest list of winners' does not even include the very latest 'Amita A'. If you look at their 'amount donated', it is a standard ticker that is often used by scam sites that tell you how much time you have left before the deal or discount expires. It always goes up consistently once a second, and when you refresh the page, the arbitrary number resets itself. The fact that they have never provided another form of contact other than email is fishy. So yes, they are a business that sometimes pay out with profits earned by their clients, but I'm pretty sure at the expense of thousands of others who have contributed and have their accounts terminated, with no way of getting their accounts or money.
