That is, if the return window for regular items is 30 days, it’ll be 14 days for clearance items.
Also, Swimwear, lingerie, and earrings cannot be returned to Sammy Dress (except the reason for return is that the company made a mistake). Granted, these items are usually non-returnable for hygiene reasons. To illustrate how serious the problem is, because the company advertises heavily on Facebook, and the cases were becoming very frequent, Facebook had to act, and the social media giant came out to say that it will work out ways to address the issue of advertisers whose products are overwhelmingly unsatisfactory.
Sammy Dress does not cover shipping costs, except it can be proven that the company is the cause of the item being unsatisfactory. That is, where a damaged, faulty or not as described item is sent. For every other case, the customer has to bear the return cost. As mentioned earlier, because many items ship from China, shipping costs will be found to be significant.
To put this into perspective, when trying out Sammy Dress for this review, we selected two Cowl Neck Sweatshirts into our bag (each costing $14.50). The total purchase cost was $52.75; it was broken down as follows: Items cost = $29.00, shipping cost = $22.37, and shipping insurance = $1.58. Mind you, the $22.37 shipping charge was the slowest shipping option; the standard shipping was quoted as $48, while the expedited shipping was quoted as $52.74.
Remember that expedited shipping does not mean that we’ll be receiving our order the next day; there’s no guarantee of even receiving the items within the week of placing the order. That said; we were not excited about spending $52.74, or $48, or even the $22.37 to ship our $29.00 items.
What it also means is that if it happens that we do not like the items when we receive them, we’ll have to stump up about the same amount (or more) to return them. Thus, just for back and forth shipping, we may end up spending considerably more than the $29 that the items cost themselves. Thus, even if the return is smooth and we receive a full refund from SammyDress, because the company refund only the items cost, the high shipping costs means that we’ll still be at a lost.
Many customer reviews in the online spaces show that the customer support service of Sammy Dress is not as effective as the company will make believe. First, is the issue of no-response or late response. While Sammy Dress advertises that it replies support emails within one business day; that appears not to be the case. There are too many reports of “no or late response” that “poor response time” comes out as a problem plaguing the store.
Also, the reviews show that when the response finally comes, most often than not, it is usually largely unhelpful.

You should also know that there is no guarantee of getting items of satisfactory quality. Though you can return any unsatisfactory item (within a very favourable 30 days return window), the cost of returns may prove high, and getting a refund may also be more difficult that should be.
