Though exchanges are allowed for US customers, the return policy means that the return window is less friendly for exchanges than it is for the refund to the original payment (the return window for exchanges starts closing when the item ships, but the return window for refund starts closing only when the item is delivered). Thus, if you’ll want an exchange, so as not to be pressed with time, you have to act fast after receipt of the item. Exchanges have the advantage of being free (free return shipping), else by virtue of the return window, it’s better to get refunded and then place a fresh order for the replacement item.
For the UK returns; if the resolution you want is a refund via the original payment method, you’ll have 20 days (from the date of receipt of items) to return it to ChicWish; if the resolution you want is an exchange, you’ll have 30 days (from the original shipping date of the item) to return the unwanted item to ChicWish; but if the resolution you want is store credits, you’ll have up to 40 days (from the original shipping date of the item) to make the return.
The UK returns are less friendly than we’ve become used to. 30 days return window (from the delivery date) is like the industry standard, but you’ll have only 20 days (from the delivery date) to return a ChicWish UK order if you need refunds. Also, where 30 days and 40 days return windows are given (for exchange and store credits respectively), they start closing from the shipping date, meaning that by the time the item is received, there’ll be relatively less time to return it.
Other windows apply when returning items to ChicWish from other locations. Though the return window itself may not be the best you’ll find in the industry, it’s a nice one that one can get free returns if store credit is chosen as a resolution. Also, it’s nice that one can get a $2.00 bonus for the inconvenience of receiving an unwanted item.
You won’t want to be stuck with an unwanted item because it’s cost-prohibitive to return. Thus, the ideal online store should feature the cost of returns that are as low as possible. The lowest possible cost is always nothing. Unfortunately, ChicWish does not offer free returns. Though it does not charge restocking fees, return shipping costs apply which are borne by the customer.
ChicWish will only bear return shipping if the reason for making the return is a fault of the store (e.g. when a wrong or defective item is sent). But for such things as buyers’ remorse (change of mind, etc), or sizing issues, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

If you are a US customer, the cost of the return label is $7.9 for returning 1 or 2 items, but it is $12 for returning 3 or more items. It is a little disappointing that it is more expensive to return 3 or more items even if all of them come from the same order. For UK customers, the return label is £4.5.
It should be said that US customers who use the return label can have its cost waived, thereby getting free returns. However, the returns will not be for refunds, but for an exchange – that is a replacement. Also, if you agree to be refunded by store credits, you can request a free return label, and you’ll be able to get free returns.
After making a return, you’ll not want to wait endlessly to be refunded. Thus, you’ll want a store that process returns and issue refunds as fast as possible.
ChicWish advertises that after a return package arrives at its distribution centre, it takes 8 – 10 business days to process the return. Again, 8 – 10 business days is not super-fast, but it’s relatively fast, given that many stores take more. You should also note that after the returned item is processed and your refund is issued, you need to allow some time for it to be reflected in your account. Thus, it’ll more than 2 weeks for you to actually get the funds.

Unfortunately a lot of the information in this review is incorrect. The clothing quality is very poor and what you receive is nothing like the images. Plus it's expensive. A black top for 45 euros arrived and was simply a cheap3 euro item from a Chinese warehouse.
Secondly, there is no live chat. If you go to their website it says there is but the option isn't available anywhere.
Thirdly, good luck getting a redund. I was given a fake return address in the UK where nobody signed for my returned package despite the courier attempting several times. I contacted customer support was asked for the information which I provided and then nothing. I have emailed several times - no response. If I leave a comment on their webpage it gets deleted. My account has also been blocked. I've since discovered that many people have had the same experience. Clearly a scam. If you like their cheap rubbish great, otherwise you will lose your money. The same people who run this scam have a whole host of other websites which are all the same - beware, don't fall for it!
I have made 3 different purchases from ChicWish. The first purchase was accidentally because I was looking for a sweater with elbow patches. I found it, I purchased it. Now when it arrived I was completely surprised of the quality of the woven yarn, the structure of the garment, the rich color, and fairly quick delivery. I was extremely hesitant to order from Chicwish because I have been burned by online fashion sites in the past. However, I am EXTREMELY pleased with my first purchase. I ordered the Timeless Favorite Chiffon Maxi Skirt in Red Rose and Ruched Long Sleeves Top in Black (both size large based on the size chart.) First, the skirt is beyond gorgeous; the fabric and cut make it flow in a light airy manner. The waist is a band with zipper, so make sure you order the right size. I am 5'9" and it goes to my ankles. The top is also nice, although I will say that it doesn't sit exactly straight on my shoulders, but it is a nice fabric and is perfect for the skirt. The delivery time was shorter than the site predicted. My order was shipped from California and took about a week to arrive. The site said "plan on 10-14 days" after it ships and I received it earlier. I placed it on Oct. 5th and received it on the 12th. I was provided a link to watch the status of my order and it seemed to be correct. Very happy and plan to order again in the future.
