However, know that the two companies are quick to deny the claim. G2Play says that though both companies (G2Play and Kinguin) cooperate closely, they are two separate companies.
They even point to the fact that the companies are based in different countries and have separate management. However, it’s safe to say that G2Play and Kinguin belong to the same network of shops that also includes Fast2Play.

Should you trust that G2Play is legit, and that the keys you’ll get in the platform will actually work?

Most often than not, squeezing water out of rock will be easier than successfully tracing how an item in G2Play was sourced.
Another thing is that the grey market bubbles with illegal acts and illegal or defective products. It is very possible that you buy a key only to find that it has previously been used and does not work. The scandals that have rocked the market in recent times also reveal that some of the cheap keys you’ll find in these markets are cheap because they were obtained with stolen credit cards before they made their way to G2Play. With this restriction, if keys were illegally obtained in bulk, there’ll be a limit to the keys that’ll be put in the hands of innocent buyers. Also, funds are not released to C2C sellers until after seven days and no complaint is lodged by the buyer about the key not working. This restriction is in place to ensure that the keys sold are functional and work as intended. If the keys do not work, and the buyer reports it, the C2C seller will not get the payment.
