Lightinthebox are scammers! The packages come from New York - but they want u to pay $35 to send it back to China to get a refund! They r refusing to give me my refund!
The quality of their stuff is cheap!
SCAMMERS
DONT BUY
I agree. Lightinthebox is a scam! The dress I purchased arrived and it was such poor quality! The dress did not match the photo they showed which leads me to believe that they show a photo of a dress (good design and quality) then copy it and send you a poor replica of it which does not even really match. The material used is cheap and awful! I requested a refund and they refused saying that the product was a 'made to order'. Nowhere does it say on the product that this is not a returnable item! NO ONE SHOULD PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! It is a scam.
Look at some of their projectors online but didn’t made a purchase, “just window shopping” but lightinthebox made payment demand to my bank account but fortunately was auto rejected by the bank. Fishy I believe
This site is a Chinese scam! Their complaint tickets are never resolved. Instead, they send you the same message that the purchased item is in transport. No phone number to talk to a representative.
I selected and paid additional for 3-Day shipping. It is over a month now and no delivery! They have you check with the US Postal Service with a Tracking Number. The problem is the USPS has no record of receipt of the product to be shipped!
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LIGHT IN THE BOX!
While the article attempts to prove Lightinthebox as a legitimate company, it's practices are designed to rip off the customer. Lightingthebox uses shipping costs to make additional profits as expedited shipping has relation to actually when they choose to ship the item. Shipping costs themselves are around 20 % to 50% the cost of the item making what might seem a good buy a regular priced item. I took a chance and lost. Expedited shipping is a month late, items that were not shipped I still had to pay shipping on even with the refund I might never see for the item itself.
This company totally rips off the customers. There is NO Question about it.
They sent me a broken product. It took several days to get a response from them. Then they offered to refund half.... half of the price.
That is absolutely rediculous. Why would I want 1/2 off on a thermometer that doesn't work.
Stay away from these folks. They are crooks.
COMPLETE SCAM. REFUSE TO OFFER A REFUND, send clothing in the WRONG SIZE and then make the customer PROVE IT.. STILL will not issue a refund.. AVOID AT ALL COST !!!
its been two weeks since i did my shopping with thempa30 quid shipping yet nothing no number nothing
