Is 20/20 Panel Legit or Scam?

20/20 Panel is actually a legit online survey site and has been paying its members since inception. It is a very popular website with lots of mix experience. 20/20 Panel is also free to join so you have nothing to lose except your precious time.

Note that, 20/20 Panel  makes ridiculous and unrealistic earnings claims, that states that its members should expect to be paid around $50 and $150 per project, as you can read above, when the truth is that online surveys normally pay less than $5 per survey, and product testing also does not pay that much. An in-person focus study will usually pay more, since you are required to come in person and be dedicated to a task for part of your day, but 20/20 Panel only provides in-person studies for people that living in the Nashville, Charlotte, or Miami areas.

Furthermore , 20/20 Panel provides no info about how they reward their members, whether in actual cash or gift cards or in “prizes,” neither do they offer any information on how much you will need to accumulate in your account before you can be able to withdraw your earnings. This is very important, since companies that require high minimums Cashout requirements are generally trying to get their members to offer them with market research studies that they will not really pay them for.

However, the main point is that, since 20/20 Panel does not charge their members any fees, you should feel comfortable trying this opportunity for yourselve, but you should understand up front that you are not going to earn the large sums of money promised by their sales page, based on experience, this is usually impossible.

Ive been apart of this “company” for almost 2 years & I qualify like 20% of the time, when I do qualify No one ever calls me then I get the email saying thanks but all participating has been recorded. Well I recently did one on the 13th and got called Monday January 23rd. Got excited, web cam meeting was set up for the 2 days & everything! Well this Morning a hr before the meeting it got cancelled! I called “Matt” to see what happened but no answer. I also still attended , As I type im still in my meeting with a NO SHOW Tech & my meeting was for 12:15 CST. I got all hype because FINALLY I get selected just for them to cancel out of nowhere & after reading other reviews im not the only one! Eff This research group. What Waste of time!!

I did a 1HOUR online chat study that promised to pay $30 cash 2-3 weeks after completion. It’s been 3 months I still haven’t gotten paid. I contacted them with the study number and everything. never got a reply. SCAMMERS

They are legit and they will call you and invite you to participate. But then at least for me they call back and say the company changed qualifications or it was cancelled. i registered last month and have been called for 5 surveys and each one gets cancelled or they changed the qualifications and I’m in ‘line’ hatEver that means. If you need money get a second job because you can’t rely on this company to make any money.

What kind of “studies” are available to participate in?
As a 20|20 Panelist you may experience several different types of opportunities:

SURVEY ONLY

This will be the opportunity to take a Survey only. There will not be a study or chat after.

SURVEY + CHANCE AT ONLINE CHAT INTERVIEW

This opportunity will consist of taking a survey. If the survey deems you qualify (complete) AND a moderator is available, immediately after you complete the survey, you will be connected to chat with a moderator for a chat interview. If you take the survey and it deems you qualify and there is NOT a moderator available, you will be exited out of the opportunity and awarded points to your profile, if points were offered. If the survey deems you don’t qualify, then the survey will close and points will be awarded to your profile if they were offered.

ONLINE DISCUSSION

This opportunity is done online in the comfort of your own home. It will be in an online discussion style forum. You will likely be asked to log in about 30-45 minutes a day for a few days to answer the questions posed by a moderator.

ONLINE WEBCAM DISCUSSION

This opportunity is also done online in the comfort of your own home and will be a 30-90 minute webcam meeting (with other panelists) or webcam interview (you by yourself).

IN-PERSON STUDY

As the title suggests, this opportunity is for an in-person opportunity and these opporutnities are designated to those living in the area of our facilities in Charlotte, NC; Nashville, TN; and Miami, FL

Each Email invitation you receive will provide you with the details of the opportunity.

Once you have signed up and become a panelist, what happens?

1. Based off the questions you answer in your profile survey their  database will search and identify whether you are a potential fit for one of their study opportunities . It is very important that your profile survey is complete and all questions are answered – which means you should be updating your profile every couple months as they add questions from time to time.

2. If their database identifies you as a potential fit for the opportunity, they will send you an email invitation to a pre-qualifying survey

3. If you recieve an email invitation to a pre-qualifying survey, you are being invited to try and qualify for one of the above mentioned opportunities. They pre-identified you based off your information in your profile and what their client is looking for in a participant. Now they must qualify that you are the right fit by asking you a few additional questions that they don’t know the answers to.

4. If you qualify for a paid study or focus group (not a survey only or chat opportunity – those will happen immediately following completing the survey, and on the spot) AND space permits (remember other panelists that were pre-identified and are also taking this pre-qualifying survey and may finish and qualify before you taking any space left) you will be called by one of their recruiters to confirm information and be scheduled. If you do not qualify, you will see a message stating that; and hopefully you’ll have better chances on the next pre-qualifying survey you are invited to.

How do You know if You qualified?

You will receive a phone call from a recruiter. Anytime you qualify for any study and there is space left you will be contacted by one of their recruiters to confirm your status in the study and provide you details about the study. Again, unless this is a survey + chance at a chat, as those happen immediately follwoing the survey if a moderator is available.

How will You get paid?

If you live in either Charlotte, Miami or Nashville where they have offices, they pay with pre-paid MasterCard gift cards. If you don’t live in Charlotte, Miami or Nashville, you will participate in their online studies and you will be given the choice (via email) of either a virtual Visa card sent to your email, or a physical card sent to your home address. You should see that incentive email within approximately 7-10 business days of the study end date. Gift Card incentives expire after 6 months.

Do they offer points?

Yes. They just began offering points in the last couple years. First, it was just a few opportunitites here and there. However, now, there are many more opportunities that could allow you to earn points. You’ll know when points are being offered or not based off your email invitation. Your email invitation will provide you with details about the incentive for the specific opportunity. To find out how many points you have, you must be logged in here at the community. How You can increase your chances

The short answer: Keep your profile updated. The more they know about you, the faster they can find you. They add new questions from time to time, so be sure your profile is always complete. Their clients come from all kinds of different backgrounds, industries, product lines, services, etc. and could be looking for any number of consumer attribute combinations in their participants. The best thing you can do is BE SURE your profile is complete and all questions answered. Then just update it periodically (every 3-4 months) They may add new questions to learn more, so after a month or two you will likely have unanswered questions in your profile. Keeping an updated profile gives you the best chance.

In conclusion:

20/20 panel is a legitimate place to earn money doing surveys. Although they exaggerate your earring potential, and you are not going to earn what is quoted on their website but you will be able to make good money. And it is free to join.
