I was looking forward to getting my order, which I placed online with payment through PayPal and extra for 2-day shipment. Never received shipping confirmation. Three days later I called to find out where the order was, and they said they cancelled it due to me not confirming billing info. Ok, so I reordered over the phone establishing info. Received one email confirming order was received. 2 days later nothing so I called, and they had cancelled my order again and also had conjured up some billing address from an order I must have placed ten years ago. Not the current info that was given over the phone. I verified my funds to make sure all was ok on my end, and it was. The main problem with this company is communication. At this point, I realised I was not going to receive dresses before my vacation, so just gave up on the entire order.
I am going on a cruise this month, so I ordered a few outfits online. Two of them were from Venus, and both were amazing! I am impressed. They came on time, fit well, and were exactly what I expected.
My bathing suit this summer..2017 is the Venus.com white v-neck, low front suit with Solid black bottom. The top has a silver circle in front in flat part area. It fits gorgeous….not sagging on the bottom, nor sides. I’m 5’10” tall, and I bought a size 16. There are criss-cross straps in the back with same silver circler hardware. Material Not manufactured thin, but quality material. This suit could be on the Front Cover of a Swimsuit magazine. Makes a lady look thinner too! I tried on, looked in the mirror & and in amazement thought….”wow-wee”! You order your SIZE, and You will feel the same way. All clothing dedicates itself to run True in long dresses, bathing suits, etc. as long as you order your SIZE that you physically are. I don’t need a TALL bathing suit, and I’m all legs! It’s Gorgeous! So happy I took a chance with this stylish and sexy one-piece suit! Much prettier in person than catalogue or website! Now it’s a Favorite… An outfit like this could run $200+!
They have some of the Sexiest clothes. I really, enjoy buying them and wearing them. What a great store for women and men always ask where did you get that dress or pants? I would love for my wife to wear something like that for Me! The make feels sexy and Hot.
Back 15+ years ago, Venus aimed their clothing at teens and twenty-somethings. In the last decade they have “grown up”, and anyone fro 12-60 can find something on their site! The dress’s made with quality, each swimsuit I buy lasts me at least 6-7 seasons, and I always got great compliments and a ton of people still ask me where I got each piece. I requested their CS team to PLEASE let us all leave clothing reviews on their site, and by god, they did it! Now you can look at reviews and get sizing info (does it run a little big or a bit small since they do carry different brands, and though they AIM to have a universal sizing chart, it works for most things, but not everything. Please, people, look at the table and all f the reviews before ordering, and you should have no issue at all. My one complaint is they will sell the same outfit/clothing for years in a row, and never lower the $$, but if it is selling well, I guess it works for them. I have never had any issues with their clothes wearing out! Kudos from a long term customer!
Doesn’t surprise me that their business is going down… ordered a sweater back in DEC 2017 and it was back-ordered until the end of January. It finally shipped, and I was subsequently charged for it for the first time on Jan 23, 2018. However, they sent it to the wrong address, and it ended up being returned to them. I contacted customer service, and they issued me a replacement on 2/7/18, but they CHARGED ME A SECOND TIME and have sent me THREE different tracking numbers for this package, none of them works. I call into customer service AGAIN, and they say they’ve issued the refund but won’t provide any proof and that they’ve cancelled my order now. I’ve now been charged TWICE for something I’ve never received.
DON’T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!! I now have my bank involved trying to get my $70+ back.
This was my first time ordering online and what a horrible experience. I took my time looking through many items and found a coat and dress, with the hope it would be on time for my Christmas party, but two days later received an email saying the order couldn’t be processed. The card shows it has been charged. I called three different times, the first time the lady was so rude to me and sounded exasperated and annoyed, put me on hold for a long time then transfers me and I ended up having to explain the situation all over again to a woman who could barely speak or understand English. The second time I called I thought the case had been handled finally and would be getting my things according to their rep, however two days later still no confirmation email which prompted my next call to the company. After one final attempt to get my order shipped and or get my money back, was yet again treated as an invalid by a nasty, annoyed sounding woman ( lots of sighs and talking slowly and repeating herself ). So my advice is to do your research about companies like this, so you don’t have a similar experience. How unfortunate that this is what you can expect these days. Side note: I had a great experience with Lulus and got a great dress for my party!

Bust: Measure over the fullest part of your bust, with the tape measure parallel to the floor. This measurement will assist you in determining your swimwear or clothing size for tops and dresses.
Underbust: Measure directly under your bust, with the tape measure parallel to the floor. This measurement will assist you in determining your bra band size and swim top size.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hip, before the thigh begins to narrow. This measurement will help you determine your size for skirts, pants, and form-fitting dresses.

Thanks to their exclusive adjustable sliding strap and strings along with their sash ties, there is more flexibility than your standard single bra hook or loop. They now offer “sister sizing” – where the cup volume stays the same, but the band and cup letter can change.
Ready for a day at the beach in your new bikini? For swimwear tops that have a cup size, order your usual bra size (band + cup), their system will do the rest. Finally, you will receive a bikini top that has a letter designation and possibly a bra band/cup size.

PERFECT FIT CONTEMPORARY SIZING

There is a charge of $6.95 for the use of this label, which will be deducted from any credit due on your return or, in the event of an exchange, they will charge your credit card $6.95 for the label. The instructions for the use of this label are found on the back of the name. You may return the package via UPS or USPS; there is no need to go to the post office or UPS store. You may give the package to your postman or UPS driver, or you may drop it in a UPS drop box or USPS mailbox. Peel off and place the pre-paid return label on the package. If you are using the original shipping bag or box, be sure to put the return label over your name and address on the packaging and to obliterate any other addresses and barcodes on the outside of the package.
Customers outside of the United States, please be aware that return labels are not provided for shipments. Packages may be brought to your local carrier for delivery to their return address.

Venus originated the concept of “Mix and Match” in 1982. They guarantee a perfect fit by allowing you to select any style top in any size and any style bottom in any size! By following the size charts, you should be able to find your perfect size the first time you order!
Bikini Top Sizing
For bikini tops (excluding style 133 & 137), use the size chart to determine your size. Most of their Tops have adjustable back and shoulder straps so that if you are in between sizes, you can still get a perfect fit. You can find your bra size on their size chart. Where the cup and bust sizes intersect, you will find the Venus® size to order.
Tankini and Sports Tops Sizing
Since there are no “cups” in these tops, your rib cage measurement directly below the bust line determines what size will fit you the most comfortable. This applies to Venus styles 133 & 137
Swimwear Bottoms and One Piece Sizing

It seems like EVERY time I order I NEVER get it when they say I will!! I once paid for 2-day shipping and it took 4!!!! Don't bother to use that feature if you need something right away because it won't happen. My latest order was delayed by 4 days and I still have no idea when it will arrive!! I'm done ordering from them due to the ongoing shipping issues.
i have made numerous orders in the past. I was quite happy with the quality and the speed of delivery , but lately every time i try to order all i get is a fashion emergency message . I order from quite a few websites and this is the only one that i get this type of poor service

I have ordered from Venus a few times. I do like their products but the problem I have is their return policy. They do not pay for return shipping and do not stand behind their products. So even if there is defect in the product they WILL NOT pay for shipping. One time they shipped me the wrong product and would not pay to shipped it back! That has souied me to buying from them for a while.
Advice; Make sure you read the reviews before you buy something because you can gain a lot of information about, fit, color, style etc.
FRAUDULENT RETURNS POLICY
If you live outside the US, then don't even think about returning as the Free Return/$6.95 refund return won't apply to you! This is despite the invoice and associated information on the website and included in the package saying otherwise. It will cost me $80.95 to return the $78 bikini I purchased. A bikini which in real life was pretty different than the photo on the website. I will never buy from this organisation again!!!!
UPDATE 6 Days Later: I have tried twice contacting your customer support people - basically you’re on your own!!! Further, Canada Post does not operate in Australia!!! Any reputable business would apologise, honour the written and advertised policy and/or provide a refund as well as stop spending huge amounts of money on google AdWords targeted at unsuspecting Aust consumers! Disgraceful
Oh and you have now been reported to the ACCC in Aust and the relevant authorities in Florida. I encourage anybody that has the same experience (there appear to be a few of you after reading the reviews) to do the same. Crooked businesses such as Venus.com have to be held to account.
