The big question is whether this is just an advert blurb or whether Belle Lily does have high quality, trendy fashion clothing? If it does have the product, what about its pricing; does Belle Lily offer competitive prices?

We include “complaints” in all our reviews because what real customers have to say about an online store gives valuable insight into how well the company is. If complaints are many and frequent, then all is probably not well; but if there are just a few complaints, then the store may just be worthwhile.

For the complaints section, we looked at the top independent online customers’ reviews platforms, specifically, www.trustpilot.com, www.sitejabber.com, and www.resellersratings.com. Interestingly, in these platforms, Belle Lily comes out with a rating that is above average. For example, at the time of writing this review, in Sitejabber, Belle Lily was reviewed by 581 customers, and scored 2.9 out of 5; in Trustpilot, it was reviewed by 664 customers, and scored 3.0 out of 5; and in Resellers Rating, it was reviewed by 221 customers, and scored 8.1 out of 10.

Yes, there are many positive reviews on the platforms; but some complaints stood out. These included: poor quality items, difficulty with returns/ refunds, and no resolution for lost orders.

Poor Quality Items

As the reviews show, the “poor quality” complaints take different forms. The most common one is that items received sometimes differ significantly from what was pictured that informed the buy decision. There are just too many of this complaint that it comes out as a real problem, and not just a one-off or coincidental occurrence. That said, when you order from Belle Lily, there is a real chance that what you’ll receive will differ from what was described or pictured in the product description page.

Another face of the “poor quality” complaint is that some items received are found to be made from poor quality materials or poorly made.

Difficulty with Returns and Refunds

One of the most popular complaints about Dress Lily is that it’s difficult to return items and get refunded. For example:

  • Angela Singleton in Trustpilot continued “…I immediately messaged on Facebook and emailed, and now they are giving me a hard time with a refund. They have asked me numerous times to keep the order and they will give me a 10% refund towards another order. No thanks. I want my money and you can have whatever this is back. When I keep refusing to accept their 10% offer they have gone up to 25% and still asking me to keep the item. The last message I received was information on how to return the order. My package came from California but they want me to send it to China! No thanks. Take back your garbage and give me my money back. Beware ordering from this company”
  • Alex Meisner in Trustpilot continued “…Returns are also equally as impossible because they make you return it to Hong Kong at your own expense. I should have read the reviews before I ordered…”
  • Roseorrico in Reseller Ratings says “…I asked to return the products for a refund but they kept saying it would cost more money to ship it back and refuse to refund my account and take back their product. If you buy from here, their policy is no returns no refunds. FYI, no it won’t cost more money to ship it back, I looked into it. They only tell you this to keep your money so you are left with their very cheap product. Any real retail store would stand by their product and take it back to make their customers happy…”

The “difficulty with returns/ refunds” complaint comes in different forms. First, is that the return shipping address is in China. Customers who want to return an item will face having to ship the return package all the way to China, which means that return shipping costs will be very high.

In this regards, Belle Lily does not make it known in its website that the return shipping address is in China; this all-important information is not even stated in its return policy. So many customers do not know that return shipping costs will be prohibitive until it is too late.

Another issue that many customers had with the return policy is that, where a return is being requested for sizing difference, Belle Lily requires that customers take pictures with the clothing as evidence to support the claim. The reviews show that many customers were not happy with having to take pictures, as they just wanted the return to be authorized. When no picture evidence is provided, Belle Lily does not authorize the return. The result – customer go shouting that Belle Lily is a scam for refusing them return. To be fair to Belle Lily, it clearly states in its return policy that, where applicable, return requests should include “message pictures”. It clearly does not offer a “no questions asked” return policy.

That said, if you’ll want an online fashion store where you’ll not have to explain yourself when returning an item in your order, Belle Lily is definitely not your destination.

Also, another part of the “difficulty of returns/ refunds” complaint is that using the high return shipping cost as a weapon, Belle Lily actually does its best to talk customers out of making returns even when it is established that the items are subpar.

As can be seen from the customers’ reviews, sometimes even after it is established that the items are subpar, Belle Lily will offer that the customer keeps the item and get a 10% refund towards the next order; and if that is rejected, Belle Lily usually increase the offer to 25%. If the customer insists on returning the item, then he/ she will have to bear the high cost of shipping the item to the China return address.

No Resolution to Lost Orders

Another complaint about Belle Lily that is common in the online platforms is that it does not offer any help if you do not receive delivery of your item, especially if it claims that the item was delivered. For example:

  • Hadie H in Sitejabber says “Says item delivered, yet never received it… was told someone probably stole it then so I needed to contact local police… funny thing is it was supposedly delivered to my P.O. box which cannot be broken into! No one can get into it [to] steal from a P.O.box, so gtfo with that bs”
  • Alisha P in Sitejabber says “Warning!!! Do not shop from this company. My package was shipped on the 10th and still don’t have it; it’s lost and they won’t do anything. They say it’s been delivered. To whom I have no idea and it’s my job to contact the post office or law enforcement!! What a joke; do not order from them”
  • Chandra S in Sitejabber says “6 months of back and forth emails about not receiving an item they say was delivered. They refuse to trace on their end (has to be done by the shipper) and said to contact the local police…”

There’s no doubt that it’ll be frustrating as a buyer to not receive delivery of your order only for the retailer to maintain that it was delivered, and not do anything about it. We also understand the position of Bella Lily because dishonest customers can easily misuse any resolution for supposedly lost items in scamming retailers.

That said; there are just too many cases of “lost orders” that is a significant problem with Belle Lily. So if Belle Lily will not offer any resolution for lost orders, then it should at least look into preventing the issue of lost orders.

Shipping Cost

In every online purchase, shipping costs are added to items’ price in calculating the total acquisition costs. Thus, when shipping costs are too high, even items that are acceptably priced can easily become too expensive to acquire. That said; the ideal online store will have shipping costs that are as low as possible.

Return Window

Also, won’t have forever to decide on returning a Belle Lily item. Online stores only accept back items that are returned within a specified time frame. Thus, you’ll want an extended return window so that you’ll not run the risk of the item getting back to Belle Lily late and being rejected. That said, Belle Lily allows 7 days from receipt of the item to contact them about returns.

Belle Lily is a legit store that promises to provide high quality, trendy fashion products that’ll make you the most beautiful girl (or woman) at an event. It does provide a range of women clothing that includes Tops, Dresses, Bottoms, and Swimwear. Another promise that Belle Lily lives up to is to offer products at stunning factory direct prices. It’s actually a destination for budget-conscious shoppers, as its products have prices that are low and affordable (think of the under $10 dresses or Tops).

BelleLily ships to a couple of countries. It offers free shipping to every location, and this comes with a relatively low minimum order requirement. If you are not totally satisfied with your order, it promises a resolution if contacted within 7 days of delivery.

However, there are many complaints of delivered items being of poor quality. Thus, you just may receive delivery of your order and find it overwhelmingly unsatisfactory. Also, getting return authorization is not as easy as customers will want. More so, when returns are approved, you’ll face high return shipping costs as the return address is in China. Lastly, even when the item is shipped back, actually getting refunded often take longer than expected.

If you hit the brick wall, Belle Lily can be contacted via email and Facebook. The absence of instant feedback channels is made worse as response time is usually way longer than the 48 hours that is advertised.

SCAMMERS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! MY EXPERIECE IS MUCH WORSE THAN THE ARTICLE ABOVE PLAYS OUT!

Nothing fits, has the described quality or pattern as pictures or described. The website clearly stated I can return for a full refund if in original packaging, unworn and tagged. When I received my item there was an address on the label titled "send all returns to:" with a US address - but that bag was mistakenly thrown out. I went through all the motions to request a return over the span of 2 + weeks and I am getting the shaft from this company. They take their time requesting pictures - which i send. Then they only offer me a partial refund. Now they offer for me to send back to China on my dime for postage. But the very best part: ALL OF MY EMAILS TO THEM ARE GETTING RETURNED (from 2 separate email addresses) because they mark me as SPAM! I am unable to reply back to their emails without it getting kicked back. I send as a new message - it gets kicked back. I send from another email address with the prior correspondence attached and I get one reply (without an acceptable solution) and then I AM MARKED AS SPAM AGAIN. This is a joke. I want to return these in the US as stated on their website. Nothing has even been TRIED ON - that is how misrepresented these sizes are - and I've done everything right! Please see attached for examples of the BS correspondence from this company and all of my BLOCKED attempts at resolving this.



I am CLEARLY not the only one this company jacks around. They are bad behavior and scammers! The return label had a US return address on the label! It stated in order to return that it needed to be approved by contacting their customer service! Their customer service has played this game for over a month! I cannot wear any of these items of clothing! I am a size M and wear a M-L because I do not want things to be too tight - I wanted a baggy look in some of the items ordered and I ordered WAY UP in size and they DO NOT EVEN FIT ME AS THEY ARE TOO SMALL! I even ordered 2XL items! The material is cheap, the colors off and the return policy is bull crap! Please please help me! This is not fair and I checked with USPS and it would cost me $263 to send back these UNWORN, UNOPENED items that I tried to return in the first 2 days of receiving! I am playing by all of the rules and I was scammed and mislead by the advertising of their products in quality, size, color and return policy! I do not want a partial refund, I want to return these items for a FULL refund to the address on the label that I so very much so wish my husband did not mistakenly throw out! This company is unethical and I feel like my purchase is not protected even with PayPal if I still need to prove otherwise! And a side note - all of my correspondence through email with them is STILL marked as spam and all get bounced back to me - as Bellelily immediately emailed me when I opened this claim and asked for me to close this claim and accept store credit for a partial amount... Funny how it took them weeks to respond prior but as soon as I opened a Pay Pal claim against them they responded within 2 hours. Please let me know if you need any other proof of correspondence or pictures of what I did receive vs what I should have! Thank you for your time!

This place is terrible. The quality of the clothing is horrible very generic. The sizing is off very bad. I normally wear a large and i ordered an extra large and it was small. They are not willing to make things right with you. They dont want to refund you. They will argue against it and try to make you a lame compromise so they dont have to refund. This company is a terriible business and i will never order from them again!!

chemical sandles

i ordered a sandles, and it arrived today, May 28th. My youngest opened the package. Instantly the heavy chemical smell hit her and she choked, cried out and recoiled. I smelled it and had the same reaction. My other daughter smelled it and same reaction. I tried it on and the chemical smell was left on my feet and i had to wipe it off. We all got an instant headache. I immediately put the sandles back in the plastic packaging and sealed it with tape. I want my money back. These sandles are a health hazard.

Not showing my order

I placed an order 2 weeks ago, 9 business days. My money came from my bank account same day as my order but I haven’t received an order confirmation email or anything. On their site it shows that I haven’t even placed an order. I have all documentation that I did place an order. I sent them a message on their Facebook page and they responded back in Chinese. I don’t recommend this site

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not order from this company! Products are cheap and cake damaged. Have been going back and forth since November 16th trying to get my money back. They finally tried to offer 10 then 15 percent of my money back for their cheaply made and damaged products! What a joke. Do not waste your money. This is people trying to take advantage of our country.

The worst experience ever

I ordered 2 shirts and a dress paid $54.06 and they shipped out August 23 I got them Sept 9. After opening the package none of the shirts fit and none of them were the quality that the picture showed. I’m not pleased at all and when contacting customer care they refuse to give me a address to send them back too and they also told me they would only give me compensation of 20% of each item back. Are you kidding me? I don’t suggest anyone ordering from this company.

I ordered some things for my wife. It did take about 4 weeks but not a problem. Underwear was 1 size fits all, however they are so small she can't wear them " her hips are 36in". Also order lingerie in medium but it is to small, she's only like 5'4". so nothing fits her and I went by there measurement chart

  • THIS IS ONE SHADY COMPANY!! Quality is very poor and sizing is way off?? What do you expect when dealing with a company from China? It is impossible to track your package because they do not use the same shipping as here in the states. Returns are also equally as impossible because they make you return it to Hong Kong at your own expense. I should have read the reviews before I ordered! Anyone who gives them more than 1 star is straight up lying and probably works for the company and is paid to write positive reviews to offset all of the negative ones. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

  • I ordered a face mask 3 weeks ago...they said it was shipped and delivered, but it didn't come to my house. The tracker says delivered to "carrier", but no one will tell me which carrier, so I still do not have my product!! They do not care about helping me get my product. WHY DIDN'T IT SHIP DIRECTLY TO MY HOUSE???
