Found the truck I liked and started the buying process as it was presented on their website. Uploaded the documents requested and provided the banking info for a bank transfer for a cash buy. The website said the delivery date was in three days and payment would be processed upon delivery and my acceptance of the vehicle. Believing the deal was finalized, I added the vehicle to my insurance as they said was a requirement for final delivery. Next day they called, changing the terms, telling me the payment must be made in full prior to delivery and the process time is some seven days for the payment with delivery scheduled after that. That set of requirements wasn't made available to me at any time in the buying process on the website. I find that to be a deceptive practice and I told them so. I cancelled the buy and have no plans to ever use Carvana again. Now I have to get the vehicle removed from my insurance. Thanks, Carvana for wasting my time!
What started out as a decent experience (online search and quick delivery), turned into a nightmare! For starters, Carvana did not disclose a cosmetic issue that I had to get corrected (which was another terrible experience at MAACO). The vehicle wasn’t even clean when it was delivered, but I figured that I’d overlook that. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have cut them any slack because they don’t follow the principle of treating others the way that you want to be treated.
That was the tip of the iceberg. Their registration process was abysmal at best. I've never had such an atrocious experience with any business in my life! It took them 4 months to get the registration “completed” and that was only after I called them repeatedly (getting the same horrendous customer service each and every time). Oh sure…their agents sounded nice, but none of them got anything done for me. They all said the same thing (reading their script) and there was no real empathy despite what their script told them to say. I truly felt like I was in a cruel time loop that I could not get out of—no matter what I tried. For the life of me, I could not get help. Did I mention that after 4 months of dealing with them, Carvana still got it wrong? I was done! I’ll never buy from them again!

so far the hold is awful and dropped the call once so far......lets see if they answer at all. The recording says, "waiting time is one hour no matter how long you are waiting." I just want to know why I have to go all the way to Ontario CA when they have a place in Sacramento to sell my car to them??????
Carvana is deceptive and are not honest with their customers. I bought a car and did everything thing per their instructions. Then afterwards I was told that there were shipping delays. OK. I accepted it. Then I was told the car would be 4 days late. I called to square away insurance paperwork and they had an opertuninty to tell me the car had engine problems at the Atlanta inspection station. It was being shipped from New Mexico going to Virginia. So, the inspection prior to leaving the original point of departure and the inspection stations along the way should have revealed the engine problems early on. They wanted me to wait 10 more days so they can fix the car, in the mean time not telling me there was an issue with the engine until I pressed them about the 2nd delay. Complete dishonesty. I even proposed buying another car exactly like it that had 20K more miles on it and they would have to reduce the price by $3000 to match the other. Did not budge. Complete dishonesty and only out to make money. Not even wanting to make things right with my purchase. I would advise any and all of you to stay away from Carvana!!! Not even worth 1 star.
